Lamborghini’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations at Cholmondeley

Lamborghini be celebrating 50 years of the company at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power next month. The company will be showing off the current range, as well as a range of significant vehicles from the company’s history, at the Cheshire Cholmondeley Estate. The lap record around the Cholmondeley 1.2 mile circuit will be coming under threat by the Gallardo LP 570-4. Until last year, an older version of the Gallardo Superleggera had the fastest time around this track. Lamborghini will also be showing the brand new Aventador LP 700-4.. This will be the first time that a 700 horsepower drop top would have been on display for the public in the United Kingdom. It surely is an exciting event to attend if you have an interest in cars, especially Lamborghini’s.

Classic cars of five decades of Lamborghini will be taking to the circuit

There will be classic cars from fifty years of the company taking to the circuit, this will include a Diablo and  Jalpa and a rare 25th anniversary Countach.

The event director for the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power James Hall explained that Lamborghini has produced some of the most beautiful and powerful cars in the World and the brand is the first one that springs to mind for many people when somebody mentions the word ‘supercar’.

Beautiful and fast cars from different eras of motoring and motorsport, will be the backdrop for this Pageant and will certainly ensure that Lamborghini enjoys a very flamboyant and typically loud celebration of the company’s first fifty years in business.
