I am sure everybody has been in the position where they have tried to squeeze into a parking space they know just isn’t big enough, or atleast it’s going to be a challenge, or atleast we have watched someone do it from afar and maybe chuckled to ourselves at their frustration. Whether it’s to save that little bit of extra walking from the car to home, or trying to squeeze into a parking space in a carpark, we have all experienced it in some form. Well, wouldn’t it be easy if we had the ability to squeeze into tiny parking spaces such as the one a German stunt driver has managed to get into. He has broken the world record for the tightest parallel parking by getting his car into a space that was only 10.3 cm longer than it.
Who broke the record?
The previous parking record was set in June. Ronny Welchelberger who is also known as Ronny C’ Rock actually pulled off his stunt in June also though has only just had his record, which he achieved with a Volkswagen up, certified by Guinness. The past record was achieved by Han Yue, a Chinese Driver who was certified in June after breaking the record with a MINI Cooper. Yue’d’s record left 15 cm between the bumpers of his car and the cars behind and in front of him.
